Workflow & Participants
The network facilitates ZK proof generation and verification through a coordinated effort of three key participant types:
Agents: Initially run by the Proverium team, agents relay proving tasks from ZK projects to the network and return necessary information. Over time, this role will become permissionless, secured by token guarantees.
Provers: The workhorses of the network. Provers utilize powerful hardware (GPUs, ASICs like ZK Lite, ZK Elite, and PVM 1 chip-based systems) to generate ZK proofs. They stake $PVM tokens to participate and are rewarded in $PVM for successfully generating valid proofs.
Validators Committee Members (VCM): VCMs are responsible for verifying the proofs generated by provers and participating in network governance. Due to ZKP's succinctness, VCMs can operate with less powerful hardware. If a proof is validated by a sufficient number of VCMs, it's considered settled on the Proverium chain. VCMs earn rewards for their services and will integrate with restaking communities. To become a VCM, entities must stake $PVM, with voting power proportional to their stake.
